Balzer

Duryea Car
The Duryea, built in 1893 by brothers Charles and Frank Duryea, was the first gasoline-powered car in the U.S. With a water-cooled engine and one-cylinder design, it marked the start of American car sales, with 13 units sold by 1896.
De Dion-Bouton Quadricycle
In 1882, Comte Albert De Dion and Bouton built a quadricycle powered by their successful internal combustion engine, which was widely used in 19th-century motorsports. A 1900 model is on display at the Louwman Museum in the Netherlands.
Daimler Maybach-Stahlradwagen
Wilhelm Maybach and Gottlieb Daimler, early pioneers of internal combustion engines, created the Stahlradwagen in 1889, inspiring Armand Peugeot’s designs. Daimler's traced star later became the iconic Mercedes trademark.
Hammelvognen
The Hammelvognen, Denmark's first car from 1886, featured a 2-cylinder engine with three horsepower, reverse gear, and brakes. Though lacking suspension, its innovative design is now displayed at the Danmarks Tekniske Museum.
