One look at his Instagram page will provide a look into some of these amazing vehicles. Throughout his mix-tapes, Curren$y constantly mentions vehicles and they are usually featured heavily within his music videos. His song “Michael Knight” is a homage to the early and mid-1980s Corvette.

N.W.A And The Signature Early 1960s Chevrolet Impala

All members of N.W.A had a fascination with this type of vehicle due to the easy customization and ride style these vehicles give the driver. Not only did Eazy-E mention the '64 in his song “Boyz In The Hood”, but Dr. Dre and Ice Cube have also shown love to the Impala in various songs and music videos since the late 1980s.

Wu Tang Clan And The Early 1990s Mazda MPV

The vehicle also appears in the music video and was touted for its reliability and practicality - two features that are not often found within cars that belong to hip-hop crews.

The vehicle is most associated with Miami rapper Rick Ross but others such as Meek Mill, French Montana, and Wale were also synonymous with the vehicle until production stopped in 2012.
