Classic Cars Young Collectors Can't Get Enough Of

1994-1996 Chevrolet Impala SS

Hagerty

This Chevy is the epitome of revival for the 90s. While it didn't get enough attention in its time, the SS was a genuine muscle car selling nearly 70,000 units within three years. Many have remained collector's items to this day, and the younger generation has picked up on the appeal of the performance and spaciousness of the Impala. The last year of production was in 1996, and a special ceremony was held at the plant for the collector who bought the last Impala SS. Impalas have also been used in some West Coast rap videos and is a standard vehicle in the West Coast lifestyle.

Up next we have a large sports utility vehicle from Dodge.

This full-size 2-door SUV was popular for offroading and was designed to compete with the likes of the Chevy Blazer/GMC Jimmy and the Ford Bronco. Two-door SUVs and the older body style were losing their appeal by the 90s, so production was halted. While mainstream car enthusiasts fell off the bandwagon, there is still a market for young collectors who are perusing auto ads looking for the Ramcharger. The 80's look of the vehicle is a strong selling point, as well the fact the top of the SUV can be opened.

In the next slide, we have a vehicle that had humble beginnings.
